What: Bill Speidel Enterprises Inc., operator of the Underground Tour, is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, expert junior Graphic Designer to develop and execute marketing collateral as part of an in-house marketing team.

Responsibilities:
• Concept and create graphic designs for web and print.
• Create and maintain all web content, including web sites, blogs, social media, analytics and search engine optimization.
• Concept and create advertising and other promotional graphic content for print and web.
• Create signage and graphic content for in-house deployment, including menus, newsletters, tickets, price lists, historical displays, etc.
• Copywrite, edit and proofread content for publication and in-house deployment, including press releases, policy memos and manuals.
• Develop and promote brand identity.
• Collaborate with marketing and senior management to create and implement effective, coordinated marketing strategies and tactics.
• Develop, implement and support strategies to increase sales across all departments.
• Perform other marketing duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
• Minimum 3 years professional experience in graphic design for print and web.
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field. Advanced degree a plus.
• Expert, with a minimum of 3 years professional experience, in Adobe CS, particularly Illustrator and InDesign, Mac OSX and Microsoft Office.
• Broad and expert knowledge of web design and maintenance software and protocols, including Dreamweaver, Fireworks, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Must possess excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Professional experience in tourism-related marketing or equivalent preferred.
• Must possess fundamental knowledge of Seattle and Washington State history, culture, geography, public transportation, guest accommodations, attractions and services.
