Position: Senior Designer

Arrayhealth is looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Designer to take ownership of the product user experience design and help with marketing asset delivery. You’ll play a vital role in defining the future of health care insurance enrollment in a rapidly evolving market. You will also be responsible for driving the usability standards for the website, managing user tests, and analyzing site data to create an environment of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Product Management, Engineering and Account Management teams to create the UI and interaction design specs for new and existing product features through the creation of user experience briefs, site maps, concept diagrams, user scenarios, user-flows, wireframes, visual comps, and both rapid lo-fi and detailed high-fidelity interactive prototypes.
• Create, own and appropriately apply a consistent design standard across all Array Health product features and corporate assets.
• Work closely with the Product Management team to design and facilitate user research sessions and usability tests.
• Analyze customer-related research to better inform user stories, priorities and solutions.
• Advocate industry standards and user-centric design principles and champion innovative techniques and solutions.
• Direct design work using external resources as required to complete marketing assets and site design as well as product UX needs.
• Partner with Product Management and external resources as needed to communicate and shape the overall UX strategy at Array Health.

Requirements:
• BA/BS (or Master’s Degree) in Interaction Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or other related field, or demonstrable experience to compensate.
• 4+ years of professional experience designing interactive web and/or mobile UI.
• Expert knowledge of design software (Photoshop, Illustrator and/or Fireworks) and familiarity with HTML/CSS/JS (you won’t be committing code, but a deep understanding of web technology is important).
• A portfolio that demonstrates a range of work, ideally including e-commerce and data presentation or reporting projects.
• Ability to present and pitch design solutions to product leadership, business stakeholders, customers, and executives for review and feedback.
• Ability to estimate level of effort for tasks for design initiatives.
• Able to critique other creative work, offering direction for improving quality, consistency or strategy.
• Self-motivated problem solver that’s comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
