Position: Marketing Communications Specialist

The new Marketing Communications Specialist will be responsible for delivering high quality, regional marketing campaigns and other marketing programs to support sales and build awareness of the Apex Learning solution. Responsibilities:

  • Manage regional and urban marketing campaigns including planning, writing, scheduling and deploying emails.
  • Manage user webinar series including writing, scheduling and deploying all invitations and follow up emails.
  • Provide guidance to sales reps and account managers on messaging of email campaigns, create emails upon request, and review and edit all regional mass emails for all reps.
  • Work within CRM and marketing automation system.
  • Manage email template bank, including creating and updating current templates.
  • Document, analyze, and report on results of specific marketing campaigns.
  • Support marketing team with any ad hoc projects that may come up.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in Business related field, preferably marketing.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in marketing.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills of customer communications.
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing communication development and execution, project management, and program evaluation.
  • Enjoys working in fast paced environment with sales and account management teams, responsive to last-minute requests and works with tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative individual with can do approach.
  • Action and results oriented with tenacious and detailed follow-through.
  • Good communication, decision-making, time management and organization skills.
  • Effective planning, analytical, multitasking and problem solving skills.
  • Strong comfort with CRM and marketing automation systems (Salesforce, Act-On)
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience in marketing.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Ability to pass a Social Security Administration E-Verify check for U.S. work authorization.
