If so read on. Projectline is looking for a new Marketing Consultant to join their team of b2b experts managing customer-centric marketing programs for our high tech clients.


Position Overview: 
In this role you will develop an understanding of client’s business and how to help them reach their goals. You will focus on full time or multiple part-time client projects, work with enterprise sales teams, marketing teams, sales partners, and actual customers to gather software solution deployment information, qualify customers for a customer evidence or reference program, develop interesting written success stories (case studies), and more. You will write communications that are sent to customers and internal teams, and maintain sophisticated tracking and reporting tools.

You will hone and perfect your project and information management skills by developing innovative ways to provide on-demand status reports; develop and execute on processes to identify customers who are willing to be profiled in success stories. You will manage writers, editors, designers, and other vendors to exceed client expectations. You will also be helping deliver on client needs long-term and having an all around good time helping our clients succeed.

Responsibilities:

• Establish project goals and milestones
• Track and monitor client results and budgets to ensure that project is on schedule and fiscal target
• Keep management abreast of project allocations
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and successfully
• Qualify customers for rapid deployment, customer evidence or reference programs
• Build high trust relationships with clients
• Work with top reference customers to ensure they are satisfied and their experiences run smoothly
• Partner with clients to increase rapid adoption, customer reference or evidence program usage and visibility
• Use your savvy communication skills to work with customers to gather software solution deployment information
• Manage vendors, case study writers and editors to produce a quality product for the client and their customers
• Provide program guidance to clients and customers
• Work with Product Marketing teams as they prepare for the launch of their new product(s
• Attend meetings, trainings, airlifts, summits, conference calls
• Manage on-going reporting and tracking towards monthly, quarterly, and annual reference goals

Requirements:
• 4 – 6 years of product management, marketing management, or communications management required
• 2+ years of experience in customer reference or customer testimonial marketing
• 2+ years field sales or marketing experience in a high tech company a plus.
• Natural intuition with written language, including messaging, tone, clarity, flow, etc.
• Willingness to ask questions and take initiative
• Comfortable talking to people in many different roles in client’s large organizations without trepidation
• Willingness to work around road blocks and lack of responsiveness with charm and persistence
• Exceptionally positive attitude, professionalism, pride in work product
• Advanced usage skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint products (or equivalent classes/course work before starting)
• Strong analytical skills
• Flexible and intuitive personality that can manage complex internal and client relationships
• BA Degree (Focus in marketing, business, communications, or related field strongly preferred)
• Demonstrable sense of humor and whimsy required
