Affirma has a rapidly growing marketing communications department. They are looking for the right person to join the team as a Marketing Coordinator. This position is available to any college graduate with a strong GPA and a Bachelor’s degree. They prefer candidates with some (0-2 years) entry-level experience related to Marketing, Communications, PR, or Social Media, however this is not a requirement.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting directly to VP of Marketing and collaborating with the entire business
• Helping plan and develop promotional and branding materials with the goal of communicating the unique benefits derived from utilizing Affirma’s services
• Assisting with market research, competitive analysis and maintaining partnerships with other companies
• Implementing online marketing campaigns, publishing content on blogs and social media outlets
• Supporting sales staff by providing in-house sales team with contact data, market trends, forecasts, portfolios, proposals, account analyses
• Assisting sales team in maintaining, nurturing, and growing Affirma’s database of clients
• Leveraging our CRM to organize sales team activities, profile accounts that should be targeted, and research/assign contacts
• Creating and producing company newsletter on a quarterly basis for internal and external staff and customers
• Assisting with event coordination and planning
• Developing content, optimizing landing pages for SEO/SEM campaigns to improve website visibility and traffic
• Maintaining the overall sales agent program by recruiting and training new members while communicating with current sales agents via social media
• Executing promotional campaigns around our new iPhone game; this may include coordinating events, PR, website development, and video production
• Crafting email templates to be used in nurture marketing campaigns

Requirements: 

• Strong written communication skills
• Ability to learn new technologies and their application to marketing
• Software programs, such as: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Photoshop preferred but not required
• Basic HTML preferred but not required
• Knowledgeable about these topics: Lead generation, Social Media, SWOT Analysis/Market Research
