Tommy Bahama is looking for a qualified Licensing & Product Marketing Manager to join their efforts to create an island lifestyle that inspires the world to relax.

Responsibilities: Responsible for the Tommy Bahama Group licensee marketing activity including brand strategy, launch plans, campaign materials, retail programs, public relations, collateral and promotional strategies and other duties as assigned by Director of Brand Marketing. Responsible for oversight of marketing for all licensee relationships and the development and implementation of all marketing plans and creative execution. LPMM is the primary liaison with the NY licensee department with respect to marketing. The NY team will secure deals, oversees the business side of the relationship while the LPMM with the Director of Brand Marketing handles all licensee marketing issues. LPMM is responsible for tracking each business to identify and leverage all opportunities to create brand awareness and drive sales. The LPMM works with creative services team to develop/review all licensee visual communication and campaigns to elevate and support the brand strategy. LPMM works with corporate PR firm to maximize positive exposure for the brand, integrate efforts with licensee PR teams and seek opportunities for greater PR value in both traditional and social media. LPMM with direction provided by Director of Brand Marketing, will approve all marketing plans, creative and PR. Each licensee will have direct access to the LPMM to drive concepts and promotional ideas; LPMM assures all opportunites to drive sales are leveraged with TB Retail and e-commerce marketing and e-mail plans. Track budgets, monitor accountability of marketing/advertising dollars as defined in contracts and ensure licensee’s are invoiced appropriately. LPMM will work closely with design on upcoming product releases to compile and communicate relevant product information to PR, corporate communications and the consumer marketing team. The LPMM will gain approval of all integrated marketing efforts with appropriate leadership for all parties involved. As well as;

• Drive development of brand through facilitation & obtaining appropriate level approval of all licensee marketing materials including product line materials, collateral, hangtags, advertising, web, packaging, fixtures, creative photo assets & PR.
• Work with marketing team to pro-actively seek and identify new opportunities to leverage marketing across categories, distribution channels and integrate or callibrate plans accordingly.
• Evaluate and monitor impact of all licensee marketing activity to ensure it is relevant and cost-effective through measurment and ROI.
• Uphold and promote brand integrity in all categories.
• Responsible for budgeting and tracking licensee marketing activity.
• Raise and resolve issues with program management affecting costs, timelines, needs etc.
• Attend new licensee partnership meetings and faciliate launch plans.
• Consistently review processes for working with licensee’s on projects, promotions and product launch’s.
• Attend product tradeshows and stay abreast of licensee competition and marketing efforts.
• Oversee sponsorship opportunities, integration with licensee’s and their accounts and activate sponsorship for maximum success.
• Participate as a member of the marketing team to drive and shape the brand direction.
• Collect and compile relevant new product information to distibute to interested parties
• Work closely with Creative Sevices to distill product information for the creation of collateral materials
• Collaborate with PR teams on noteworthy TB product information specifics.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing communications or equivalent

• 6+ years marketing experience in multi-channel distribution environment
• 6+ years experience in a creative environment
• Requires 5+ years of planning and executing marketing promotions
• Requires a minimum of 3 years experience in e-commerce and social media pr/marketing
• Requires proven collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Excellent understanding of budgets and planning
• Must be highly organized
• High amount of travel required
• Retail experience a plus
• Computer skills: Proficient in Office suite with an emphasis in Excel.
