They’re seeking an individual to serve as a paid search analyst for their mid-to-enterprise level clients. Some of your tasks might include attribution analysis, keyword research, copy editing and quality score testing.

While previous experience with paid search isn’t necessary, analytical ability and attention to detail is a must. Experience with Google Analytics and/or delivering client presentations is a definite plus!

Candidates must be able to effectively interact and present to clients over the phone, via email or in person. This individual will also manage paid search accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Examine search query behaviors on general or specialty search engines or other Internet-based content
  • Analyze research, data, or technology to understand user intent and measure outcomes for ongoing optimization
  • Use web analysis tools to define and track key performance metrics related to business and marketing performance, identify failure points or opportunities for improvement, and provide insights into key customer and marketing activities.
  • Identify and present opportunities – translate client data into actionable information during for reporting/presentations
  • Research, develop, test and expand program elements
  • Navigate engine interfaces, client emails and Excel analysis on a daily basis
  • Keep up with search industry knowledge – changes/advances

Requirements:

  • Degree in statistics, business, computer information systems, marketing, or a related discipline
  • Prior experience measuring & analyzing Web business performance utilizing tools such as Google Analytics and Omniture Site Catalyst
  • Strong problem solving & analytic skills
  • Strong experience with data analysis
  • Advanced level Excel skills
  • Advanced Power Point skills a plus
