This position is part of a programming team to develop, implement, and maintain commercial software packages, web-based applications and client-server systems. S/he participates in analysis, design, programming, data conversion and implementation of software projects. This position reports directly to the Application Development Manager.

Qualifications:

• Intermediate/Advanced VB.NET4
• Intermediate C#.NET4; ASP.NET 1
• ASP.NET MVC
• SQL
• Preferred SQL Server Integration Services
• Preferred DBA

Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Effective leadership skills with an emphasis on customer service; strategic and critical thinking skills; and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups with varying interests while balancing needs are essential to your success.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another field that teaches programming, analysis, writing, and organization skills. The equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered. Prefer three years increasingly responsible experience in design, development, test and implementation of web-based and client/server systems (both GUI and middle-tier) using a 3-tier model with SQL Server databases. Experience implementing and supporting commercial package systems is also important. The position holder should have facility with a variety of current tools and programming languages (e.g. .NET, MVC, XML, SQL, SQL Server, Visual Studio, and Crystal Reports). Other requirements: excellent programming, writing, analytical, and team building skills. Knowledge of current, standard programming and analysis tools/ techniques for requirements gathering, flow diagramming, and software/database design, development, test implementation and maintenance; excellent oral and written communication skills.
