Position: User Experience Designer
Where: Seattle
What: As a UX Designer at Getty Images, you will work closely with business partners, developers and product managers throughout all stages of the product cycle on a variety of Getty Images websites. This role will focus primarily on web features with some mobile projects in the mix. You are a critical thinker with solid design fundamentals, technical sensibilities, and an instinct for making things better.
Responsibilities:
• Define use cases & interfaces for new and existing Getty Images websites.
• Effectively communicate interaction & design ideas by producing high level and/or detailed storyboards, mockups, and prototypes.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of new and existing products, and make constructive suggestions for change.
Qualifications:
• Academic background in Industrial Design, User-centered design, Information Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent degree/experience.
• Fundamental knowledge of web standards & best practices.
• Experience with E-commerce and B2B business models.
• History of designing usable web-based interfaces for high traffic, large scale, complex sites.
• Excellent leadership, communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with AGILE principles and work processes.
