It is the only online dating and relationship service to offer the Duet® Total Compatibility System (Duet®), co-developed by renowned relationship expert Dr. Pepper Schwartz. We are seeking an energetic, creative and accountable, analytical digital marketer to take the Perfect Match member email program to new heights.

 Duties:

  • Ownership of all marketing and product management related to Perfect Match’s email channel
  • Optimize our stream of member email communications through direct response tactics, including:  personalization, offers, creative, timing, and targeting
  • Perform daily and weekly A/B testing on multiple campaigns to continually improve campaign performance
  • Manage the email campaign process full-circle, from definition to development to deployment to reporting
  • Define requirements to automate recurring promotional campaigns and work with the technical and marketing team to implement these enhancements
  • Ensure that we continue to have high ISP and inbox delivery rates for our emails by maintaining our certified and safe status with ReturnPath
  • Pull and analyze email campaign performance data for our email campaigns that powers our weekly and monthly dashboard reporting
  • Maintain the email campaign calendar along with any seasonal/thematic email promotions
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Partner Marketing teams to provide email support for special events and product releases
  • Stay current on email best practices surrounding performance, mobile adoption, social media, etc. . .  Socialize those learning’s across the team
  • Identify new CRM/email opportunities through industry research and competitive benchmarking
  • Act as an advocate/ambassador for our email program successes both inside and outside the organization

 

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS college degree or equivalent; MBA is a plus
  • 5+ years of proven success growing channel performance as an email and/or online marketing manager working for an e-commerce consumer brand
  • Great attitude and desire to be a key member of the CRM/Email Marketing team
  • Willingness to innovate and challenge the status-quo
  • Possesses a strong bias towards action
  • Highly organized multi-tasker who can seamlessly manage multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to remain flexible in his/her approach and a willingness to take creative input from a variety of stakeholders
  • Strong communicator and presenter who is very comfortable interacting within a team environment and cross-functionally across an organization
  • Good creative intuition when it comes to messaging and designs that represents our brand and resonates with our members
  • Thorough understanding of email performance metrics and benchmarks
  • Comfortable synthesizing response data and making sound, actionable recommendations
  • Understanding of subscription-based business drivers and models is a plus
