Position: Social Media Manager
What: The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and executing a social media strategy to foster ongoing interaction, advocacy, and credibility between Übermind and the mobile industry. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the position is responsible for evaluating, planning, establishing best practices, and building and managing Übermind’s brand across all social media channels.
Responsibilities: Analyze and evaluate both existing and potential social media activities and strategies. Manage Übermind’s presence across social channels. Collaborate with HR team on hiring campaigns. Collaborate with PR team on PR campaigns. Uphold brand voice standards. Create and manage social media editorial calendar. Establish relationships with key bloggers and sites.
Requirements: Passion for mobile other related technologies
Minimum of two years social media marketing and/or campaign experience
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, technology, or related field
Knowledge and understanding of social media tools, search, trends and channels
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong critical thinking and creative problem solving skills
Ability to succeed in a very fast-paced, high-energy environment
Ability to coordinate multiple and diverse projects simultaneously
Proficient in social media listening tools
Ability to integrate social media into larger marketing campaigns
Experience using multimedia to communicate in social space (video, podcast, etc.)
