Position: Interactive Project Manager
Where: Downtown Seattle
What: WONGDOODY/United Future is hiring for an Interactive PM for our Seattle team. The project manager’s role is to work on client websites, development projects and interactive marketing initiatives. This person is a liaison between the interactive team as well as external and internal clients.
Responsibilities: Core competencies of this role include:
Must be able to cost out and schedule projects properly. Must be able to staff projects with appropriate resources. Must be able to track costs and schedules. Must manage deadlines and milestones for all team members. Must be able to track project changes and risk.
Able to communicate clearly to various members of the team, including advertising account executives, clients, technical personnel, analysts and creatives. Ensure that all parties have thorough understanding of project requirements, client direction, technical considerations, business strategy.
Organization & Documentation skills
Must document all project activities, turn in regular project status reports and give on-demand project updates to team members and clients. Must be able to write clear and concise project requirements. Must organize and document all project revisions and changes. Wireframe capabilities are a plus.
Must be able to diffuse problems and foresee problems with staff, technology, strategy, schedules, clients, etc, in advance in order to head them off. Must be able to manage personalities and stressful situations.
Must keep track of all project assets. Must be able to archive project files accurately. Must be able to perform QA scenario testing. Must be able to track any requirement or project revisions.
Must believe that the good of the team is better than getting personal credit. Must be willing to do what it takes in order to get consensus and results. Must be willing to roll your sleeves up and do any job necessary for your projects to deliver.
Have ability to conceive and communicate marketing strategies, understand and analyze client business objectives and make strategic recommendations.
Have ability to generate ideas with creative teams, inspire creatives and push creative output.
* 4+ years of project management or producing in an agency or interactive company environment
* Experience managing teams of 6 or more members, including creative, architectural, technical and analytical
* Experience in a wide array of interactive marketing projects including, but not limited to:
o Banners (experience managing rapid-development banner campaigns is a plus)
o Large and small-scale websites
o Data-driven site functionality
o Rich media
o Video players / sites
o Landing pages
o Flash applications
o Mobile applications
o Social media applications
o Lead generation
o Touch screen, kiosk and retail experience is a plus
o Visual effects experience is a plus
* Advanced knowledge of MS Project, Excel and Visio
* Experience working with multiple 3rd party vendors on one project
