The Amazon Paid Search team is looking for an energetic, ambitious, results driven person to help drive qualified traffic to all Amazon.com web properties worldwide. As the Paid Search Marketing Manager, this individual will be responsible for the day to day management of Amazon’s vast keyword portfolio. Job duties include driving ongoing efforts to conceive of new keyword generation techniques, performance optimization, ad testing, and campaign design. To excel, this individual must be highly analytical, data savvy, and creative.

Responsibilities: Positively impact nearly all aspects of Amazon’s search marketing campaign including keyword development, creative, landing page selection, campaign optimization, reporting, testing, optimization, and analysis. Work with internal Amazon product teams to help define and meet performance goals. Analyze search marketing campaign for actionable insights to expand program and drive efficiency. Track, report, and analyze paid search campaign performance. Manage to predefined budget requirements and efficiency targets. Work together with the technical team to continue to enhance the current system. Translate analytical findings into concise business actions and recommendations. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements: The ideal candidate should be organized with demonstrated strong academic and professional performance. The position requires someone who is highly analytical, organized and detail-oriented with ability to work in fast-paced environment. 2 or more years work experience preferably in Paid Search Marketing or some other form online marketing. Bachelors degree in Math/Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Business or related field required. Advanced degrees preferred. Strong analytical skills and experience managing large keyword portfolios. Experience performing creative optimization, landing page analysis, keyword generation, and bidding analysis is desired. Familiarity with professional optimization packages as well as the vendor tools supplied by the major search engine vendors (Google MSN, Yahoo, Baidu) are all strong pluses. Ability to work with technology team to develop Search Marketing tools. Ability to understand and execute against multiple and complex goals in a fast-paced environment.
