Partner Power Hour – How The Heck Does Git Work, Anyway?

October 30, 2020 @ 12:15 pm - 1:00 pm

We’ll learn how Git interacts with GitHub, why you keep running into the same “gituations” over and over, and what to do about them.

Join us, from the comfort of your home, on Zoom (once registered, the link can be located under “Addition Information” in your confirmation email)

Why do all of my Git branches have merge conflicts? Why can’t I push from my computer to GitHub? Why am I continually tempted to just throw my repository out and start over fresh? How the heck does Git actually work, anyway?

If you’ve ever asked these questions, fear not! In this session, we’ll go beyond the usual Git 101 to discuss what actually happens inside a Git repository. We’ll learn how Git interacts with GitHub, why you keep running into the same “gituations” over and over, and what to do about them. You’ll go from Git noob to leet Git haxor in no time!
