How to build your financial model(s) to project performance, understand key metrics and communicate your growth strategy to investors. Discussion will address the right way to model out SaaS, product and hybrid revenue streams to identify risks/opportunities and smooth out the due diligence process.
Kathleen is a seasoned investment professional and founder who now provides interim CFO services to help entrepreneurs make a more compelling, professionally formatted case for early-stage investment in their businesses.
Kathleen has more than 25 years of experience as an equity analyst, preparing financial models, business plans, market analysis and valuation tools. She made investment recommendations to the global equity desks based on fundamental performance/strategies/events/trends and their impact on company valuations.
She transplanted to Seattle 10 years ago, founded 2 companies and more recently assumed her current advisory role. Additionally, Kathleen earned MBA from Stanford University and BA from Colgate University.
Fundamentals for Startups is a weekly one-hour lecture series featuring notable experts who share startup-related information, experience, and insights with our entrepreneurial community. From raising capital to scaling to exit strategies, these seasoned guest speakers deliver valuable content designed to help startups and entrepreneurs thrive. Lectures are typically 30-40 mins, followed by open Q&A.
