Nordstrom Sets $1B Web Sales Goal
Nordstrom, Inc. has great expectations for its Website performance over the next 4 to 6 years. Specifically, it wants to increase sales from the current $401 million mark annually to $1 billion dollars.

According to P-I Reporter Craig Harris, Nordstrom plans to nearly double the size of its fulfillment and call center to 578,000 square feet in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to help meet its online $1 billion sales goal. The expansion plan is scheduled for completion in 2008, around the time Nordstrom hopes to have its Internet inventory system tied into its store system. Read the rest of this entry.

Cranium Adds First Online Game
Cranium, Seattle’s makers of best-selling, brain-twisting board games introduced the first online game in its eight-year history on Thursday. The new title is called Pop 5 Live and available through through MSN Games. The new game takes a cue from YouTube by allowing players to upload videos of themselves acting, humming or performing other behaviors in response to Pop 5 clues. Players try to guess the performances to win cash prizes.
