Dan Sundgren New Chief Evangelist for Add3

Add3, a search marketing firm specializing in search engine marketing, search engine optimization, and online display advertising, is doubling its footprint on Seattle’s Capitol Hill and filling the rather large shoes of a Chief Search and Digital Media Evangelist in the personage of industry veteran Dan Sundgren.

Sundgren brings Add3 more than a decade of search and digital media expertise, having held sales and business development leadership roles with such organizations as Google and AOL, among others.  He will be primarily responsible for business development, relationship management, and external evangelism of Add3 which has  grown from 15 employees one year ago to approximately 25 today.

“This is an exciting time for Add3 as our expanded offices will provide an inspiring new home for our employees and because we are thrilled to add someone of Dan Sundgren’s pedigree to the team,” said Chief Operating Officer Tim Wisner.

“Dan is a great fit on several fronts, as he combines deep search marketing experience with a first-hand understanding of what it takes for nimble, fast-growing firms such as Add3 to succeed.  Many of us have enjoyed working directly with Dan for several years through his Board involvement with the Seattle Interactive Conference and Northwest Internet Advertising Group, so it became easy to envision working with him on a full-time basis,” said the COO.

“I’ve been watching Add3’s progress since it was founded and believe the company is uniquely suited to provide best-of-breed search marketing services to a growing base of clients here in the Pacific Northwest and beyond,” said Sundgren.  “Add3’s team has been in the business of search for as long as anyone I’ve encountered and I can’t wait to work with them to help companies navigate and generate success in a constantly evolving and exciting search marketplace.”

Sundgren’s career has spanned a variety of sales and business development roles. During his tenure at Google, he was part of the team that opened the company’s first Pacific Northwest office more than 10 years ago. His background also includes leadership posts as GM of Interactive Media for Intelius; VP of Partnership Sales for PeopleFinders; and Director of Sales for Efficient Frontier.  He currently serves on the Board of Advisors for the Northwest Internet Advertising Group, SEMpdx and Seattle Interactive Conference, respectively.  Sundgren is a graduate of Washington State University.  [24×7]
