When it comes to raising money, you need much more than an idea to get funding. If a “demo” is the new powerpoint when it comes to credibility, then “revenue” just may be the new “traction” when it comes to attracting investors. This just in: generating revenue is both a great way to demonstrate that your business model works, and is a much less dilutive source of funding than equity capital.
