The Social Media Content Manager will be an energetic, results-oriented social media pro who will collaborate with internal and external business partners to promote and administer our social media marketing campaigns and brand awareness. Primary responsibilities include the development of compelling, topical, and relevant content to post daily while tracking metric’s and monitoring relevant conversations on all CHPW social media channels, including, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, other digital channels and blogs. This role will also be responsible for updating content on CHPW’s intranet home page and Sales & Marketing intranet department page.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in the development of marketing and communications plans that leverage the social media space.
* Manages social media content across all digital platforms.
* Responsible for developing appropriate branded content across paid, owned and earned social channels. This includes status updates, tweets, pins, photos, and videos.
* Creates and grows business presence on social media channels, including, but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram.
* Works with cross-functional marketing teams on websites, social media promotion, email marketing campaigns, coordinate marketing and/?or communication strategies.
* Develops monthly editorial content calendar for social media networks.
* Monitors social media statistics, report trends; issues, and takes appropriate action.
* Establishes appropriate response protocols to negative comments or customer complaints as needed.
* Posts relevant and timely content on CHPW’s intranet home page and the Sales & Marketing Department intranet page.
* Helps establish and refine effective processes for efficiency and successful implementation of social media messaging.
* Uses project management tools to track and manage internal projects.
* Helps to develop, maintain, and enforce communication standards for the organization.
* Ensures consistency with plain language standards as well as branding and positioning.
* Participates in usability studies and user feedback groups and implements results.
* Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
* Required: Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing, Communications, Journalism or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience)

Prior Related Experience
* Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience developing relevant and topical social media content across multiple social channels in a business environment.
* Experience working in a digital marketing and communications environment.
* Experience with content management systems, preferably WordPress and Expression Engine.
* Demonstrated project management experience with strong organizational skills.
* Health care or regulatory industry a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Demonstrated writing skills. A well-developed writing style, as well as strong grammar, spelling, punctuation skills are required.
* Knowledge of HTML and SEO principles.
* Understanding of editorial principles and social media best practices, digital product marketing and what works digitally
* Proficient in all main Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Creative suite especially MS Word and Excel.
* Familiarity with Chicago Manual of Style, AP Stylebook, and other style guidelines.
* Experience working with multiple authors and subject matter experts.
* Excellent interpersonal and team skills, including the ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds in a respectful and courteous manner at all times.
* Working knowledge of project management tools preferably SharePoint.
* Ability to prioritize, organize and complete daily work both independently and with team members.
* Ability to work within a professional environment maintaining a professional demeanor and confidentiality
* Exhibits strong problem solving and decision making skills.
* Assertive, resourceful, motivated; willing to ask questions and take initiative with minimal direction.
* Ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Sensory*:
* Speaking, hearing, near vision, far vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, touch, smell, and balance.

Physical*:
* Extended periods of sitting, computer use, talking and possibly standing.
* Simple grasp, firm grasp, fine manipulation, pinch, finger dexterity, supination/pronation, wrist flexion.
* Frequent torso/back static position; occasional stooping, bending and twisting.
* Some kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying (not over 25 pounds), twisting and reaching.

Mental:
* Frequent decision-making. Ability to gather and assess data, determine appropriate actions, apply protocols and knowledge to unique situations, problem-solve and provide consultation.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Office environment with frequent environmental exposure to low-grade radiation from computer monitors; fast paced with frequent interruptions.

PROTECTED HEALTH INFORMATION (PHI) ACCESS
Community Health Plan employees will encounter protected health information in the regular course of their work at and for Community Health Plan. Community Health Plan is a Covered Entity engaging in Health Care Service Contractor treatment, payment and operations. The following scale intends to provide some indication of how often the employee may encounter or work with PHI in this particular role.  All PHI shall be used and disclosed on a Need To Know Basis and according to HIPAA Privacy Rules Part 164.  In addition, every employee shall sign a confidentiality agreement as a condition of employment and violation of that agreement and/or Community  Health Plan policies can be cause for termination.

PHI is defined at 164.103 as:
“Protected health information means the individually identifiable health information that is (i) Transmitted by electronic media; (ii) Maintained in electronic media; (iii) Transmitted or maintained in any other form or medium.
Individual means the person who is the subject of protected health information.
Individually identifiable health information is information that is a subset of health information, including demographic information collected from an individual, and:
(1) Is created or received by a health care provider, health plan, employer, or health care clearinghouse; and
(2) Relates to the past, present, or future physical or mental health or condition of an individual; the provision of health care to an individual; or the past, present, or future payment for the provision of health care to an individual; and
(i) That identifies the individual; or
(ii) With respect to which there is a reasonable basis to believe the information can be used to identify the individual.
This position as described will use, encounter, read, create, disclose and or work with in general, PHI that is created by or received by Community Health Plan:
