Responsibilities:
This is an exciting opportunity to come into a new division of a thriving company and help shape the division’s path to success. You will find yourself fully engage in the role with work that is highly valued. You will not find yourself just a “cog” in the wheel. As our Application Architect you will play a key role in designing, developing, documenting and analyzing the overall architecture of software systems. Our top candidate will determine integrated, layered application architecture solutions that meet functional, performance, usability, scalability, reliability and security needs. The ability to coordinate design and integration of total systems including subsystems is important as well as the ability to research and recommend technology to improve the current systems.
KNOWLEDGE: You have demonstrated skills in building, from scratch, layered and flexible application architecture for market ready products. Ability to meld multiple application architectures into a cohesive whole utilizing underling IaaS/PaaS providers. You are highly capable of mapping layered application architecture to existing full java stack constructs, leveraging J2EE/backend technologies and frontend javascript technologies.
ANALYSIS/PROBLEM SOLVING: You can think around corners and solve complex problems in a meaningful and realistic way.
CONTRIBUTION TO COMPANY TECHNOLOGY: You will be a key contributor on complex projects/initiatives. You will impacts current and future business opportunities through application of specialized technical/ industry knowledge. You will be able to develop methods/techniques based on strategic project objectives with ease.

Requirements:
BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience in a related area
7- 10 years of hands on software development experience (not QA/testing), preferably in an enterprise application development environment shipping products to the market
3 years of architecting scalable and flexible software solutions
Ability to architect solutions created leveraging technologies such as:
JavaScript, Node, MongoDB, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JSON, XML, REST Web Services
Additional preferable skills and knowledge: Angular, ASP.MVC, C#, no-SQL, and Entity Framework
Strong knowledge of industry best practices in SDLC and agile release management process
True Agile/Scrum experience (e.g. actually RELEASING working product after every sprint)
