Responsibilities:
Provide the Central Content team with functional tool development, automation solutions and technical troubleshooting.
Participate in group problem solving with a focus on efficiency and innovation.
Partner with internal to ensure the team’s technical needs are appropriately communicated and prioritized.
Develop components of Central Content team’s applications.
Play a direct role in programming, maintenance, technical support, documentation, and administration of the applications.
Advise and act as liaison at the application/product level for ad hoc projects.
Effectively resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur.
Consistently follow through on details and drive issues to closure.
Provide written design documents, test plans, and test results.
Engage team members with new tools or changes and provide walkthroughs/training where necessary
Assist on general workflow streamlining -for example with MechanicalTurk templates

Requirements:
Experience in SQL queries and reporting.

Knowledge and hands-on experience of working on web-based content.

In-depth understanding of the tool sets and databases in use across GSO

2+ years of web development/programming experience, using tools such as HTML, CSS, C++ and JavaScript.
