Position: UX Designer

Where: Seattle

MedBridge has created an online educational ecosystem for physicians and clinicians to stay up-to-date with the latest research, refine their clinical skills, and to facilitate improved patient outcomes. Customers include major hospitals and clinics, encompassing thousands of healthcare providers.

This position will have a significant impact on business as they guide the design direction for MedBridge’s online presence. The designer will work collaboratively with engineers, managers, and other designers, facilitating design throughout each stage of development.

Responsibilities:

  • Have a curiosity and passion for crafting amazing experiences.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and ability to explain your design decisions.
  • Previous experience in UI/UX Design and possess an online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating relevant experience.
  • Fluency in best practices for information architecture and interaction design, user-centered design process, as well as strong knowledge of user experience principles and techniques.
  • Experience working in a collaborative team and directly with developers for implementation of designs.
  • Bachelors degree is required.

Requirements:

  • Work on UI architecture, visual design, interaction design and user testing.
  • Own the design process of every feature you work on, from idea to brainstorming to launch.
  • Create a consistent user experience by standardizing UI behavior.
  • Analyze and measure your design changes with A/B testing and user research.
  • Gauge the usability of new and existing products, and making constructive suggestions for change
