Position: Project Manager

What: As a Project Manager at Rational Interaction, you will be responsible for client satisfaction, quality of work and project profitability. You will ensure that project deliverables map to business objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the broad vision required for executing a project, including strategic thinking and leadership from beginning to end, as well as overseeing all the small details involved in fulfilling our commitment to client satisfaction. Being a Project Manager is a high-energy, detail-focused, and rewarding task.

Responsibilities:

*Provide team leadership working with the leads to ensure project success within budget, timeline and scope
*Oversee the creation of goals and strategy throughout project
*Plan, track and approve project expenses, billing and invoices
*Communicate expectations to client, team members and manage the process from assessment and definition, creative & technical design, production and development, testing and launch
*Develop functional specifications for all projects
*Create and oversee project schedule; ensure timely completion through all phases; take lead on quality control issues; write and present project plans/risks in collaboration with other team members
*Build relationships with existing clients; participate in the RFP process; lead client presentations with appropriate team members and directors
*Represent Rational Interaction values to clients and team members
*Stay current with client, competition and industry trends

Requirements:

*BA/BS degree (and PMP certification a plus.)
*At least 1-3 years of experience in a consulting/agency environment, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience managing websites and other interactive media
*Proven track record in a client-service environment including exposure to clients and ability to lead project teams
*Demonstrate organizational and project management skills
*Must be detail-oriented
*Strong presentation skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Good understanding of emerging web standards, user-centered design, optimization and search practices
*Proven web experience, and interface and architecture knowledge
*Demonstrated ability to motivate staff/project team, inspire teamwork and take a leadership role
*Ability to solve complex problems with keen instincts and organizational experience
*Expert Microsoft Project and MS Office skills
*Expert Apple product ecosystem skills
*Must be able to simultaneously focus on the big picture, details and driving results
