What: Big Fish is currently looking for a Mobile Marketing Manager to join their team and drive customer acquisition, user engagement/loyalty, CRM, and advertising programs for a portfolio of products in their mobile business. The successful candidate will be a well-rounded marketer, will have knowledge of the mobile/app marketing space, will be a highly organized self-starter, will have excellent communication skills, and will be detail-oriented and data-driven. This position will be located in our Oakland office and will report to the Manager of Mobile Marketing as part of the larger Customer Acquisition marketing team (located in Seattle, Cork, and Luxembourg).

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day advertising and marketing campaigns for a portfolio of mobile apps.  This includes developing strategies and executing campaigns that drive both new customers and deliver against revenue and engagement targets for existing customers.
  • Manage mobile advertising budget to drive to country-level, campaign-level, channel-level ROI goals.  This includes responsibilities for budget forecasting and International marketing programs.
  • Manage strategy, schedule, and execution for in-app sales and promotions.  This includes management of both email and push notifications.
  • Manage creative agency/team on production of all advertising (in-app, mobile web) and retention (in-app) assets for a portfolio of advertising campaigns
  • Manage working relationships with third-party vendors and ad networks.
  • Collaborate with social media and PR teams to drive coordinated, multi-channel marketing and advertising programs.
  • Create and maintain reporting to broader team on performance of apps, campaigns, and vendors.
  • Develop/maintain expertise in mobile advertising space and act as subject matter expert within Big Fish on the mobile advertising ecosystem.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ in Marketing, Business, or other related field or equivalent experience
  • Proven results managing online acquisition advertising campaigns, including display advertising and mobile advertising (mobile to web and mobile to mobile)
  • Established experience building and executing retention/loyalty programs
  • In-depth understanding of websites, online marketing, and the key levers that impact traffic and conversion rates
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
  • Excellent analytical abilities: comfortable creating programs that are strictly measured against quantitative ROI-based objectives
  • Passionate, energetic and highly motivated to help a company win in a very competitive, dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Able to wear both strategic and tactical hats – must be hands on
  • 4+ years online marketing experience with a strong hands-on knowledge of online best practices.
