Position: BSP Software Engineer

TrygTech provides complete embedded product solutions based on a broad range of software & hardware platforms, communication & networking protocols, busses and device dreivers.  They develop software on Windows Embedded, Windows Mobile, .Net Micro Framework, and Linux platforms.  With their flexible engagement model TrygTech can provide a complete turnkey solution, or help OEMs get over that challenging engineering hurdle.

Responsibilities: TrygTech is looking for a systems engineer to work on a complete board support package (BSP) for custom hardware.  Development responsibilities range from board bring-up, writing/porting of drivers,and power management to complete BSP delivery.

Requirements:

*Expert knowledge of C/C++/Assembly

*Excellent system level debugging skills

*Experience hardware reference designs

*Must be able to read schematics

*Experience with ARM processors

Platform Skills:

*Experience with Linux kernel configuration, writing drivers and Board Support Package (BSP) code

*Experience with embedded Linux build systems (Buildroot, LTIB, etc.)

OR

*Experience with Windows CE configuration, writing drivers and OEM adaptation layer (OAL) code

*Experience with Platform Builder

Bonus Skills:

*Familiar with the operation and use of electronic lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers

*SHx & MIPS processors

Additional Skills:

*BSCS/BSCE/BSEE

*3 to 5 years experience in commercial software development

*Must be willing and able to provide exceptional customer service, including direct interfacing with clients

*Strong teamwork and communication skills

*Must enjoy a dynamic work environment

*Ability to learn fast and work independently

*Good multitasking and priority management skills

*Demonstrated troubleshooting, problem solving and analytical skills
