Position: Web Specialist
Where:   Seattle
What: This Web Specialist is responsible for the front-end design and maintenance of the DSA, MID and Commute Seattle websites, including supervision of any related micro-sites. This position will also provide general marketing and communications assistance as needed.

Responsibilities: Develop and design website pages, e-blast communications and blogs as necessary, and work with outside designers to integrate program/campaign designs into the website. Ensure DSA graphic standards and editorial guidelines are reflected in website design and content.Identify and support requests for ongoing content updates and regular page refreshes on DowntownSeattle.com and affiliate websites.Develop and update search engine optimization protocols, and other procedures for website maintenance. Monitor and compile monthly analytics report on email communication, website traffic and site navigation patterns. Keep abreast of website and electronic communication technologies and provide recommendations for program/campaign integration and for ongoing site improvements and upgrades.Develop and design presentations for DSA and MID corporate events, using best practices. Proof and provide web content writing support Perform other related duties of a comparable level/type as assigned.
Requirements: Post-secondary education and/or website certification preferred. Website design and content management experience. Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe In-Design, Illustrator, Photoshop and web development tools including HTML, CSS, Cold Fusion, java script and PSP for front- and back-end uses. Proficient in updating and utilizing features of social media sites. Minimum of three years¡¦ experience in website development and design. Self-motivated, energetic learner with a good sense of humor. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with groups. Highly organized with ability to attend to multiple projects and daily deadlines. Superior demonstration of creativity and attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
