What: Hardware Is Eating Software: Nest. GoPro. Beats. Jawbone. Oculus. All hardware companies and each of them accorded multi-billion-dollar valuations either in private investment transactions or acquisitions by some of the largest technology companies on the planet. WTIA is holding the its first celebration of hardware startups (and other cool gear makers) that features everything from robotic drones to 3D printers right here in Seattle. We try to bring in an eclectic mix of amazing exhibitors, speakers and panelists to support the local hardware scene and discover the next billion-dollar juggernaut, made in Seattle.
