What: Washington Policy Center is hosting a half day conference which will be attended by
policymakers, elected officials, citizens and business leaders. This event is timed for maximum
impact one week before the start of one of the most important legislative sessions in state history
and will consist of a keynote breakfast and lunch, and breakout sessions in the morning, featuring over a dozen key local and national experts. The conference schedule is below.

• 12:00 – Keynote Luncheon with Gov. George Pataki

Who: Governor George Pataki served three terms as governor of New York, from 1995 through 2006. After the 9/11 attacks, he promoted the toughest anti-terrorism laws in the country. He also combined pro-business policies with award winning initiatives in environmental protection. He is Counsel at the New York-based firm of Chadbourne & Parke LLP and started the Pataki Leadership Center that focuses on making the American dream a reality for the next generation of young leaders.
