Where Digital Meets Nature, NW’s Largest Electronic Dance Music Event Energizes
The Gorge Amphitheatre – named “America’s most epic concert venue” by MTV Hive – is preparing to host the largest Electronic dance music event ever staged in the Pacific Northwest, the first ever PARADISO FESTIVAL on June 23, 2012.
A joint venture between USC Events and Live Nation (NYSE: LYV), PARADISO features many of the top names in the world of Electronic music: AVICII, AFROJACK, ABOVE & BEYOND, KNIFE PARTY, EXCISION and over two dozen other artists including Craze, Digitalism (DJ set), Dillon Francis ,Dodge & Fuski, Donald Glaude , Figure, Fury, Kill the Noise, LA Riots, Michael Woods , Nervo,R3hab, Skism, along with regional favorites.
“With the global explosion of the evolving dance music culture, it was a natural progression for us to bring that energy and excitement to the Gorge,” Jeff Trisler, President of Live Nation Seattle, said of the new festival. “PARADISO is the next step for us in transforming the Gorge into a world class festival site.”
Added Chad Anderson, President of USC Events, “To commemorate USC’s 15 years of producing the best Electronic music throughout the Northwest, we wanted to do something not only big, but special. And for live music, there is no place more special than the Gorge. That’s why we’re so excited about PARADISO, and what we’ve created together with Live Nation.”
The breathtaking natural beauty of the Gorge, state-of-the-art audio and video, larger-than-life amusement park rides, solstice-inspired theatrical performers and twelve hours of music on three stages ALL comes together on June 23 in an electronic paradise; an event unlike any other in the world.
